This report provides an overview of a proposal for a recycling scheme that aims to make recycling fun for Hunkemöller customers. The proposal uses the Business Model Canvas and Flourishing Business Canvas to identify key areas that can help the company become more sustainable.
Competitor analysis was conducted on Calvin Klein and Intimissimi, and it was found that Calvin Klein has done well in its sustainable orientation through its activities and is considered the primary competitor of Hunkemöller in the Dutch market.
Moreover, the Buyer Utility Map was used to identify where Hunkemöller can unlock value for customers. From this, it was found that the biggest value can be increased in the Disposal stage.
Finally, the recommendation is to reinstate the recycling program in stores and communicate it to online consumes as well. The proposed action plan is divided into three key activities over a span of 30, 60, and 90 days. The focus is on planning, setting up resource allocation, monitoring, and reviewing the success of the pilot stage. The proposal also includes a communication plan that targets internal stakeholders, external stakeholders, and customers. In addition, a training and development plan with six steps is proposed to ensure the success of the recycling scheme.
